The National section at ISGR follows the Swedish national curriculum (LGR) and is divided into two sections. LgrP (LGR Primary years) for preschool class – grade 6 and LgrM (LGR Middle years) for grades 7-9. Please read below for information about how to apply.

Students whose parents are working or studying after the school day finishes are eligible for PAL. You can also apply for a place if your child needs special support in their development due to physical, mental, or other reasons.
PAL is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The PAL Club (for students in years 4-6) is open Monday to Friday from 2:20 PM to 6:00 PM. During school breaks, the club is open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
During weeks 28–31 and between December 24th and January 1st, PAL/PAL Club is closed.
Homework is not assigned in PAL. Students are encouraged to do their homework from their class mentor teacher at home with the support of their parents to bridge the home school connection.
We promote a balanced approach to technology use. Screen time is purposeful and integrated into learning activities. Personal devices are not permitted in PAL. We also encourage mindful screen time habits at home and can offer resources for families.
Students have outdoor playtime during PAL and should have suitable clothing for the weather.
For security and child safety reasons, students are not allowed to return to PAL after their activity/lesson. The parent is responsible for collecting their child when the activity is finished.
Yes, an afternoon snack is provided. Students should not bring additional snacks to PAL.
Primary Years Programme. Ages 5 – 11.
Middle Years Programme. Ages 11 – 16.
Curriculum for primary years, grades F to 6. Ages 6 – 12.
Curriculum for middle years, grades 7 to 9. Ages 13 – 15.
